Kim

Kim Ikel does not perceive her vocation as trainer and coach as a job.  It is a higher calling in practice, with the focus on sustainable outcomes and elevation of the individual and company to achieve optimal results.
Achievements include:

  • Obtaining a BA Hons. Degree in Education and training from the University of Pretoria (SA)
  • Awarded outstanding Leadership achievement from her peers in 1985 & 86
  • Awarded financial bursaries in all years of studies at UP
  • Final year appointment of residential Chairperson at UP
  • Successful completion of 6 training manuals spanning from Life-skills to management skills
  • Qualifying as a Portfolio advisor in the financial industry and certified by Guardbank
  • Obtaining an internationally acknowledged Coaching qualification from UCT  -Coaching Excellence
  • Pioneering and establishing sustainable business concepts for several clients

Mike

After a successful 25 year career within the UK retail logistics & supply chain industry and having worked with some of the best names in the field, Mike decided to expand his consultancy practice by opening an additional office in South Africa.

The UK has some of the most sophisticated supply chains in the world and imparting knowledge in South Africa has been extremely rewarding for Mike.

As with many overseas visitors, the beauty of the country and the pending World Cup made the move a more permanent one. At this point, business focus now shifted more to training, coaching and mentoring.

Due to the increasing demand raised by his Tourism & Hospitality clients, in 2009, Mike co-founded kihd, a Branding & Marketing agency which delivers Marketing Consultation, strategies, design & product.

KIHD grew in excess of 500% by its second year of trading.
